Welding

Memorial High School CATE is a public, co-educational secondary school located in Port Arthur, Texas, United States. It was established in August 2002.

The Welding Program is a dual enrolled program with Lamar State College Port Arthur.

The program is a two years high school course that give students an opportunity to complete one more year of their education at Lamar PA.

Students also have the opportunity go straight to work with a good job upon completion.

Students learn the different types of welding ranging from Arc, Mig, And Tig welding. We work on various projects and compete in different competitions such as USA Skills and ICC for the Houston Rodeo Show!
